Bibbidi Bobbidi Fabric は、飛騨高山出身の姉妹中畑久美子、美樹によって立ち上げられたファブリックブランドです。
姉妹は、彫刻家の父と、手芸好きの母の間で育ち、ものづくりを身近に感じながら育ちました。
大人になり、それぞれ金融機関に就職、短期間の海外生活の経験をしたのち、久美子は、経営コンサルタントとして独立。
姉妹で何か挑戦したいと考え、2021年、姉妹が共通して好きなものであった、「ファブリック」で、オリジナルのファブリックデザインを制作し、ブランドを立ち上げました。
姉の久美子が企画を、妹の美樹がデザインを担当しています。
"Bibbidi Bobbidi Fabric" is a fabric brand founded by sisters Kumiko Nakahata and Miki Nakahata, both natives of Hida Takayama. The sisters grew up in a household with a sculptor father and a craft-loving mother, which instilled in them a passion for creating.
As adults, they each pursued careers in the financial sector and gained valuable international experience during brief periods of living abroad. Kumiko later became an independent management consultant. Wanting to embark on a new challenge together, they decided in 2021 to follow their shared love for "fabric" and began creating original fabric designs, leading to the establishment of their brand. Kumiko handles the planning while Miki takes charge of the design aspect.
"Bibbidi Bobbidi Fabric" 是一個由來自飛騨高山的我們姐妹二人（中畑久美子和美樹）共同創立的布料品牌。
我們在藝術家父親和手工藝愛好者母親的家庭中長大，自小就對創作充滿熱情。
成年後，我們分別在金融領域工作，並在經歷短暫的海外生活後，久美子獨立成為了一名管理顧問。
我們想一起嘗試新的挑戰，於是在2021年決定追隨我們共同喜愛的東西——"布料"，開始進行原創的布料設計，並創立了這個品牌。
由久美子負責策劃，美樹負責設計。
